Fish Fry

 
Fish is a low-fat high quality protein. Fish is filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2 .Fish is rich in calcium,phosphorus and a great source of minerals, such as iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium.We can get fresh fish from the nearby fish market which is located near the sea.So usually on Fridays I cook fish. Yesterday I made this tasty fish fry for lunch.Try this recipe.I used cod fish.You can use any fish you like.

Preparation time :5 mins
Marination time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins
 
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
 
Fish – 9 pieces
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 and 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard oil for frying 


METHOD

1.Clean the fish and cut into pieces.Take a mixing bowl.To it add turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder.
2.Add required salt, few drops of oil to it.Mix the ingredients and make it into a paste by adding about 1 tbsp of water.
3.To this paste ,add the fish pieces and mix well so it gets coated well with the masala paste.Marinate for about 10 – 20 mins.
4.Take oil in a fry pan and shallow fry the fish pieces .When one side of the fish gets cooked flip  it and cook the other side.when the fish is fried completely remove it  from the pan.
