Egg Pepper curry / Muttai milagu curry

Egg Pepper curry/Muttai milagu curry is a spicy dish.It is a hot flavor curry.Pepper powder gives spiciness to this dish.If you like egg and spicy food definitely try this recipe.You can have it with Rice,Chapathi,roti,Parata.

Serves : 2 to 3 Persons


Boiled Eggs – 3
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp (optional)
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Coriander leaves – a few
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste


1.Heat oil in a pan.Add chopped onions and saute the well till they turn light golden.Add required salt,ginger garlic paste.

2.Cook till the raw smell of ginger garlic goes.Add chopped tomatoes and cook them well.When they become mashy add Pepper powder,Cumin powder,Garam masala and mix well.

3.Add about 1/2 cup of water and cook it nicely so that you can get a nice thick gravy.Wait for the oil to separate.Add Boiled egg and mix it well with the gravy.Finally add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
