Masala Egg omelette is my favorite egg dish.You can have it for breakfast,lunch or dinner.It is simple,easy,filling and delicious one.My baby also loves this a lot.So I make this often.Eggs are good source of protein.I started giving eggs to my baby from her 6 months.I make different versions of egg omelettes will post them soon.Check out my other Egg recipes
Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Makes 3 omelettes
Onion – 1 (big sized,finely chopped)
Eggs – 3
Curry leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green Chilli – 1 ( finely chopped)
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
1.To a bowl add chopped onions,chopped green chillies,coriander leaves,curry leaves.
2.Add turmeric powder,cumin powder,salt.Break eggs and add it.Whisk them well with a spoon or whisker.
3.To a tawa add about 1 tsp of oil.When oil gets hot add 1 ladle full of beaten egg mixture to it and spread it out on the tawa.Allow it to cook.Cook on medium flame.When it gets crispy at outer edges and golden on one side flip it to the other side.allow it to get golden.Remove omelette from tawa.Make the same with remaining beaten egg mixture.
Serve it hot with some tomato ketchup.
