Today I made Jeera rice and Chicken Roast with Onions and Capsicum for lunch.My Sis shared this recipe with me recently and its her friend’s recipe.This is the first time I am trying this dish and it came out so well.It tasted awesome and we all loved it and the aroma of the dish still remains in my kitchen.It was easy,simple and also quick to make.It will go well with Pulao,Roti,Chapati and Paratha.Try this recipe and give your feedbacks.Lets get into the recipe.

Serves : 3 Persons
Chicken boneless – 500g
Oil as required for frying
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Capsicum – 1 (chopped into small pieces)
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Red food color – 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 and 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Coriander leaves – a few
1.Clean and wash chicken pieces.Take the chicken pieces in a bowl and marinate it with red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.To a pan add oil for frying the marinated chicken pieces.add these pieces to the hot oil and fry them for about 5 minutes.Remove the chicken pieces from the oil and keep them aside.
2.To the same oil add chopped onions and saute them well in oil.Add chopped capsicum and saute them.
3. Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes.Add red food color,red chilli powder and mix well with onion and capsicum.Add the fried chicken pieces to it and mix it nicely with the gravy.
4.Check for salt and add if necessary.Cook till the chicken pieces are roasted and mixed well with the gravy.Finally add curry leaves,coriander leaves and mix well with the chicken.
