Gobi matar Bhurji(Cauliflower with green Peas)-காலிபிளவர் பட்டாணி புர்ஜி

I am back after Eid Vacations.We celebrated it with our friends and neighbors.I made afternoon lunch for them.I was so happy that I was able to handle it well.
The lunch menu was
Mutton Biryani
Brinjal Katta
Chicken Fry
Cucumber carrot Raita
Rava Kesari
Everything came out well and everyone enjoyed the food.I too loved my food.It was so tasty.
Today I have come with a simple recipe that goes well with Chapati.You can also use this as a stuffing in Chapati.I also tried it.It was so tasty.Lets learn how to make it.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves : 3 Persons

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Oil – 1 tbsp
Cauliflower – 2 cups
Green Peas – 1 cup
Green chilli – 3(finely chopped)
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste

METHOD

1.Remove cauliflower florets and finely chop them.Boil water in a pot.When they have come to nice boiling.Switch off the flame.Add the chopped florets and allow it to stay in it for 5 minutes.Drain the water and keep the florets aside.
2.To a pan add oil.When it get hot add mustard seeds.Let them crackle.Add chopped green chillies,curry leaves.
3.Add cauliflower florets,Turmeric powder,required amount of salt and Green Peas.I used frozen green peas.You can also use fresh green peas.Cook till they are done.Sprinkle water if required for the green Peas to cook.
Serve with Rice,Chapati…
