Spicy Cauliflower(Gobi) stir fry – காலி பிளவர் ஃப்ரை

A simple and a basic stir fry with cauliflower or gobi. Adjust spiciness to your taste. It goes well with variety rice, Biryani, pulao and also with Roti.
Preparation Time: 10 min
Cooking Time: 25 min
Serves : 3 persons

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Cauliflower – 1( 3 cup)
Oil
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

METHOD

1. Cut cauliflower into medium sized florets. Wash them well in water. Heat water in a pot.add some water. Bring them to a rolling boil. Then switch off the flame and the cauliflower florets to it. Let it stay in that hot water for about 5 mins. Then drain the water with a strainer and keep the cauliflower ready for cooking.
2. To a pan add oil about 1- 2 tbsp.let the oil get hot. Then add the cauliflower florets. Saute them well in oil for about 10 mins. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Give them a nice mix. Drizzle some oil little by little if it is dry. Saute them till they are cooked well and coated well with the masala. Drizzle oil whenever it is required and saute them.
Serve hot with Rice, Roti…
