Radish stir fry with coconut – Mullangi Poriyal

Simple stir fry with Radish just like cabbage stirfry or poriyal. It is a no onion recipe. It tastes yummy with Rice and dal, Sambar or any curry. I cooked this recipe about a month back. I made it along with Rice, ash gourd moru curry and Potato fry.

Lets see how to make this simple stir fry.

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: 10 mins

Serves: 2 – 3

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Oil – 1 tbsp(I used coconut oil)

Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Radish – 2(Grated)

Green chillies – 2 (slit to half)

Salt as per taste

Curry leaves – 2 sprigs

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan. When its hot add Urad dal. Let it turn light golden. Then add the grated radish to it along with slit chillies. Saute them well. When they are half cooked. Add salt to it and allow them to cook. When they are fully cooked, add grated coconut and curry leaves to it and mix well. Allow it to cook for few more minutes then switch off the flame.

Serve hot with Rice and curry.
