
A simple vegetarian recipe with Lady’s finger. It is good to go with Rice and Sambar, dal,moru curry, rasam,…..

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Onion – 1(medium sized, sliced)
Lady’s finger – 250g (cut into small pieces)
Curry leaves – a few
Salt to taste
For Crushing
Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
METHOD
1.Heat oil in a pan.I used coconut oil.Then add mustard seeds.let them splutter.Add the sliced onions.saute them to light golden.Then add sliced lady’s finger into it.Saute it in the oil.Cook until the slimeness of it leaves and it is nicely cooked.

2.Crush grated coconut, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and red chilli powder in blender with pulse mode.

3.Add salt , curry leaves to the veggie.Then add the crushed coconut masala.Saute it and cook in low flame for 5 mins.Then switch off the flame.

Serve with Rice and sambar or dal or any Kuzhambu.
