I had chicken frank for the first time when I was staying at my friend’s home at Chennai, doing group studies for the semester exams, Her father was working in muscat so he has bought chicken franks from there. Her mom prepared it along with rice and dal. She made a fry with it and I loved it. I have only seen them on Tv’s before that, I always wanted to eat it since I saw the sausages in my favourite Cartoon “Popeye the sailor man”.My long desire of eating it came true only at my friend’s home. I always wanted to eat it after that but It was not available at our place. During my stay at her home, she has told me more about muscat, Oman and places over there. But I have never imagined that I will go there. And now I am here for the past 5 years in this beautiful country.
After coming here, I definitely started buying chicken franks or lamb sausages once a while and make dishes with them. I have added them in my biryani, noodles, pasta. I have also tried gravies with it. They are so easy to cook and we can make more dishes with it. You can also get curries made out of them in coffee shops along with parottas here. They taste so well together. Coming to this recipe this is so easy to cook and taste simply delicious with rice and dal, even as a starter or appetizer it is a good option that you cannot resist from having it.
