Wish you all a very happy new year 2021. Today recipe is prawn 65 , which is our favorite recipe. Sometimes I get bored with fish dishes but the only seafood recipes that I never get bored is Prawns. I like all the dishes made with them. You can also find many prawn recipes in my blog. This prawn 65 is a great starter and side dish for rice, biryani, pulao.
This prawn 65 marination is so simple and quick to make. Allow it marinate for Atleast 30 mins or you can marinate and keep in refrigerator over night.
Here climate is so cold, having hot and spicy dishes like this prawn 65 is a perfect combo for this weather.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Marination time : 30 mins
Cooking time : 25 mins
Prawns – 600 g( around 50 pieces )
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon – 1/2
oil – 1 tsp
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
Oil for frying
1. De-shell the Prawns, devein them and wash them well in water. Then drain the water completely and transfer it to a mixing bowl. To it add ginger garlic paste, Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp of oil and lemon juice. Mix well with your hands. Allow it to marinate. After 30 minutes add cornflour, rice flour and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix if the marinade is dry.
2.Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot add the marinated Prawns in batches and deep fry them to golden and crisp. Finally, fry some curry leaves and add them to prawn 65.
Prawn 65 is ready.
Serve hot with onions and lemon wedges.
