Spring onion omelette – Spring onion egg fry

Today my lunch was Rice, Sambar, flat beans stir fry and omelette. I made this omelette with spring onions. It is a good combination with Rice, bread or chapati.

Preparation Time : 5 mins

Cooking Time : 10 mins

Makes : 3


Spring onions chopped – 1 cup

Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp or adjust to taste

Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp

Eggs – 4


Take chopped spring onions(green part) in a bowl. To it add ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix well with a spoon. Break the eggs into the bowl and Beat it well with the masala. Heat oil in a tawa. Add the beaten egg to it. Spread it to a thin omlette so that you can get Crispy edges. When it is fried on one side, flip it to the other side and then remove it from the tawa. The omelette is ready.

Serve hot with Rice or bread.
