Cutlets are always an easy to make snack. Serve them hot with ketchup. You can also check out the other snack recipes.

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
Potato – 2
Oil – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1(chopped)
Mushroom – 250g(chopped)
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves – 1/8 cup(chopped)
Corn flour /All purpose flour – 3 tbsp
Bread crumbs as required
Oil for frying
METHOD
1.Wash the potatoes and make a cross in it. So that you can peek it easily after it’s cooked. Pressure cook until the potatoes are cooked well. It will take 2 whistles. Then remove the potatoes. Allow it to cool down. Then peel off the skin and Mash them well.

2.Heat oil in a pan. Then add the chopped onions to it. Saute them well to golden. Add the chopped mushrooms into it. Cover and cook for few minutes. The mushrooms will begin to leave water. Let the water gets completely reduced.

3. Add Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well. Add salt as required. Add the Mashed potatoes and mix well. Finally add Coriander leaves. Then switch off the flame. Allow it to cool down.

4. Make patties with the mixture prepared. If the mixture is not tight, add bread crumbs as needed and mix well. Make a paste with 3 tbsp of corn flour and water. Take bread crumbs in a plate. Coat the patties with the cornflour paste. Then coat it with the bread crumbs.

5.Shallow fry or deep fry the patties to golden on both sides. Remove them with done.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
