Paneer 65

Paneer 65 – a very good starter and side dish to have with Rice, pulao, biryani. I mostly use store-bought paneer in my cooking. I have already posted many paneer recipes on this blog.

Serves : 2

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Paneer cubes – 200 g

All purpose flour /Maida – 3 tbsp

Corn flour – 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tbsp

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Chicken 65 masala powder – 1 tsp(optional)

Chopped curry leaves – 1/4 cup

Yoghurt – 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

METHOD

1.Soak the paneer cubes in hot water for about 10 mins. In a mixing bowl, take maida, corn flour, Turmeric powder, Kashmiri Red chilli powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, chicken 65 masala powder, chopped curry leaves, yoghurt, salt to taste and mix well. Add little water and make it into a paste. Squeeze the water from the paneer and add it into the bowl. Coat it well with the masala paste.

2.Heat oil in a pan for frying. When the oil is hot, drop the marinated paneer pieces into it. Fry it to golden crisp in medium flame.

Paneer 65 is ready.

Serve hot with some onions and lemon wedges.
