
I love the flavors of coriander and mint. This mutton recipe has the paste made with coriander, mint, and green chillies as the main ingredient. This gravy is good to go with Rice, pulao, biryani, Idli, Dosa, Roti, Idiyappam… I have also added pepper powder to add spiciness to the dish. I have also posted a green mutton fry already. INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
Oil – 2 tbsp
Onion – 2 (medium sized, sliced)
Cardamom – 3
Cinnamon – 2 small piece
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Mutton (boneless) – 350 g
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Curd – 1/3 Cup
For paste
Coriander leaves – 2 handful
Mint leaves – a handful
Green chillies – 7 (adjust to your taste)
METHOD
1.Blend coriander, mint and green chillies into a smooth paste adding water.

2. Heat oil in a cooker. Add the sliced onions into it. Saute them to golden. Then add cardamom, Cinnamon and green garlic paste to it. Saute them well until the raw smell goes off. Add cleaned mutton to it. Saute well for about 10 mins. It will start releasing water. Add pepper powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well.

3. Add beaten Curd into it. Mix well. Then add the ground paste. Add water as required and pressure cook until the mutton gets tender and cooked well.

Serve hot with Rice or Roti…
